From a simple beginning in 1961 at Sidney, Mt, Jack and Kay Fulkerson have built a network of Funeral Homes serving Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota with current locations in Sidney, MT, Williston, Watford City and Tioga, North Dakota.
From those early days of a one funeral director operation Fulkerson’s has grown to become a leader in funeral service in the surrounding area. Today with five licensed morticians and a network of lay staff, Fulkerson Funeral Home has transformed into your most diverse and well-equipped local funeral provider.
All of our professional staff have met the necessary requirements of the industry to practice funeral service, but at Fulkerson’s, the staff is required to attain the designation of Academy of Funeral Service Practitioners, (CFSP) a self-improvement program which encourages the licensee to study and grow professionally. Fulkerson’s may be the only multi-director environment that has attained and kept that status.
Seth Coughlin, currently serving as NW District Governor of the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association, will bring 100% participation as State Association Presidency ‘s provided by Fulkerson Funeral Home.
The National Funeral Directors Association, Montana Funeral Directors Association and the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association are other memberships of interest.
Since Jack Fulkerson’s retirement in 2000. The ownership of Fulkerson Funeral Home, Inc. has been put in the hands of Mike McCollum, President and Dennis Gendreau, Vice-President. Al McGahan, Rick Clemes and Seth Coughlin and all other employee’s are a part of the family and employee owned funeral home.
